Initially, I planned to go to Kokura on 4th August only because the activities that day seems more interesting. However, it was way better than I expected, so I decided to go for the second day celebrations too. On that day, I went to Kokura at the afternoon, since it was still early, I went to Riverwalk Kitakyushu りバーウォーク北九州, a multi purpose complex with beautiful curvy shaped building. It is a shopping area too. One can view Kokura Castle 小倉城 from the upper level at Riverwalk.

After all the shopping, me and my colleague went to the Komoji Dori 小文字通り for Sunday Parade サンデーパレード. It was around the same with 4th August Welcome Parade. Nevertheless, it was fun too.

Well, after the Sunday Parade, come the Tokyo Disneyland Special Parade, I think a lot of people just came for the Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Some girls were yelling "Mickey, Minnie ........!" They are very popular.

Next was the Hyakuman Odori Dance 百万踊り, the very important event for this summer festival. There were 3 parts, Part 1 and Part 2 were normal Odori dance. While the middle part was self creation dances 創造の部.

The middle part was very entertaining. Since it was self create Odori dance 百万踊り創造の部, there were many patterns and different moves with colourful costumes. The styles included gymnastic, street dance, Hawaiian dance, etc. The Hawaiian style team was very memorable with choice of sexy costumes.

Then, next was Odori dance Part 2 百万踊り二部. All the participating teams were very enthusiastic despite the heat.

After all the dances, the night ended with a Fireworks show 花火.

After the fireworks finished, we quickly went to the train station to go back home because the next day was working day, have to rest early!
Last but not least, I have no problems with people wanting to do cosplay, but this is just too........
